Schisandra is a climber native to north-eastern China, Siberia and Korea, its fruits are particular red berries. It is called the fruit of the five flavors: salty, sweet, sour, spicy and bitter, i.e. the flavors that in Traditional Chinese Medicine identify, and therefore treat, the different aspects of human health. The 50 plants that contain them are considered the most powerful. The extract used in our products is obtained from the berries with a method called Supercritical CO2, which preserves, more than any other method, the properties of the fruit and thus their effectiveness.
Schisandra is rich in lignans, natural compounds that plants use to defend themselves from the aggression of microorganisms, in Vitamin E, hydrating and antioxidant, in Vitamin A, which also contributes to softer skin.
