Things
It is a drink that is obtained from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant which can reach up to two meters in height. With evergreen leaves and white flowers. Depending on the type of processing of the leaves, different types of tea are obtained: the green one is obtained from young and fresh stabilized leaves (to prevent fermentation), while the black one is fermented. It contains a powerful phytocomplex, much more active than the individual isolated components. It is rich in polyphenols, among which ECGC (Epigallocatechin gallate) stands out, with its important antioxidant properties. Slimming properties are attributed to methylxanthines (caffeine, theobromine and theophylline), promoting the oxidation of adipose fats to transform them into energy and increase metabolism. It appears to improve bone density in menopausal women.
